Jacobus Henricus (Henry) van ‘t Hoff

Born on 30 August 1852 in Rotterdam, he died on 1 March 1911 in Steglitz (Berlin), Germany. Dutch chemist, was awarded the first ever Nobel Prize for Chemistry in 1901.
